Most new clients are seen within 1–2 weeks. If you need sooner, add a note at booking and we’ll try to accommodate.

We review your goals, history, symptoms, meds/supplements, and labs; then build an initial plan with 2–3 clear next steps.

Most clients benefit from 8–12 weeks of focused work, then taper to maintenance check-ins. Your plan is personalized.

We prioritize flexible meal frameworks and sample days. Rigid plans are available if helpful and requested.

We don’t provide specialized ED treatment. If ED concerns arise, we’ll refer to or collaborate with an ED-trained team.

Maybe. We use a food-first approach and suggest herbs only when appropriate, with safety checks for meds, pregnancy, and lactation.

We focus on health outcomes—energy, labs, symptoms, strength, and sustainable habits. Weight can be included if it aligns with your goals and medical context.

Yes—if you share access, we can review nutrition-relevant patterns to personalize your plan.
Scope, Labs & Collaboration

No. Dietitians do not diagnose or prescribe medications. We provide nutrition care and coordinate with your clinicians.

We don’t typically order labs, but we review nutrition-relevant labs you already have (e.g., lipids, A1c/insulin, CBC/iron, vitamin D, thyroid panel) and collaborate with your provider.
If you do not have insurance, we are able to order you labs for an out-of-pocket fee from Rupa Health.

We don’t adjust prescriptions. For supplements, we provide evidence-informed guidance and safety screening; discuss changes with your prescriber.

Gut & Metabolic Health

We start with symptom mapping and simple trials (fiber/SOS/FODMAP-light), stress-gut tools, and microbiome-friendly meals before considering targeted supplements.

Fiber targets, smart carb patterns, protein quality, omega-3s, plant sterols/stanols, movement basics, and lab trend tracking.
Logistics & Communication

Use the client portal for secure messages and shared resources. Response within [1–2 business days].

A computer/phone, camera, mic, and stable internet. Headphones help in shared spaces.

Your clinical information is protected under HIPAA when you’re an established client. For website inquiries, avoid sharing sensitive details outside the portal.
Inclusivity & Safety

Yes. This is an inclusive, trauma-aware space. We welcome clients of all races, ethnicities, sizes, genders, sexual orientations, and abilities.

We don’t provide emergency services. Please call 911 or 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to the nearest emergency department.
Admin & Practicalities

We’ll do our best within your scheduled time. Arriving late may shorten your visit.

No-shows are billed a no-show fee of $75. Multiple no-shows may limit future scheduling.

We don’t sell supplements. If we suggest options, we share reputable sources; you decide what to purchase.

If we use them in Resources, we’ll disclose them. We only recommend tools we trust.
